On behalf of our client, an international fund management company, we are looking for a “Specialist AML & Transfer Agency Officer – PE (m/f/d)” for their office in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of escalation for AML/CFT-related issues and ensure that the RR and Fund Boards are kept informed about regulatory updates and changes in AML/CFT legislation.
- Provide ongoing guidance and subject-matter expertise to Fund Boards, senior management, and internal teams on AML/CFT matters, including asset-related AML controls and investor onboarding processes.
- Carry out periodic reviews and sample testing of the Funds’ AML framework, including the oversight of third-party service providers responsible for KYC on assets or investors, and communicate findings to key stakeholders and the Boards.
- Coordinate, prepare, and submit all regulatory filings required under applicable laws, acting as the designated liaison with the CSSF and AED on behalf of the Funds.
- Ensure that any suspicious transactions or activities are identified and reported promptly to the competent authorities, in particular the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
- Draft regular compliance and RC reports for Fund Boards, participate in Board meetings, and present RC-related updates in the role of the appointed RC for the Funds.
- Contribute to and support the Company’s Compliance and RC functions, including responsibilities related to specialized and support PFS activities.
Your profile:
- University degree in Law or Business
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience with AML/CFT and within the Luxembourg fund industry
- Knowledge of Luxem bourg AML and other regulatory requirements
- Eligibility for approval from the CSSF to act as Responsable du contrôle of Funds : previous experience as an RC is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and advanced functions ; programming skills such as VBA are a plus
- Good knowledge of the relevant AML/CFT requirements
- Professional fluency in English ; German is considered an asset
