Claims Officer (m/f/d)

For our client, an international insurance company in Luxembourg, we are looking for a “Claims Officer” (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities:

• Process and resolve queries from customers and internal/external contacts to ensure the delivery of a targeted claims service in line with the internal reservation philosophy
• Managing claims whilst conducting detailed investigations and populating appropriate data systems to ensure transparency of activity and audit trail
• Conscientiously process information to ensure proactive management of claims
• Responding to internal queries from customers and third parties on claims and providing regular status updates
• Maintaining and implementing the governance structure for claims, claims manuals and quality assurance reviews
• Supporting the head of the claims department in litigation matters

Your Profile:

• At least 2 years‘ experience in claims handling or in a similar position, preferably in the insurance sector
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required, any other language, especially German is considered an advantage
