On behalf of our client, a successful full-service provider we are hiring a “Patent Attorney – Electronics, Computer Science (m/f/d)” in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- Drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications across Europe and further afield
- Performing patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses as well as providing strategic advice to clients
- Representing clients before Patent Office(s) and the European Patent Office (EPO)
- Supporting research and development departments and tech transfer offices of corporate and academic clients, to identify and protect innovations
- Staying up-to-date with changes in patent law and practice
Your profile:
- Degree in Electronics, Mathematics, Computer Science or in a similar field
- 5+ years of professional field related experience, EQE-qualification required; any additional national qualification is considered an asset
- Experience in patent drafting and prosecution (EPO & PCT) in the field of electronics/ computer-implemented inventions casework
- Strong familiarity with EPO opposition, appeal, and contentious matters
- Strong fluency in English, other languages as German and French are considered a strong asset
