Head of Legal (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client, an investment company in Luxembourg, we are hiring a “Head of Legal (m/f/d)”.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive legal support on AIFMs matters
• Providing legal guidance during the lifecycle of regulated and unregulated AIFs incl. launch, restructuring, liquidation and co-investment structures
• Point of contact for regulatory authorities and auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry standards
• Overviewing corporate law matters incl. the formation and liquidation of legal entities
• Advising on the establishment and governance of SPVs including notarial and private seal matters
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as partnerships agreements, memorandums, disclosure documents, etc.

Your profile: 

• Master´s degree of Law as well as admission to the bar in Luxembourg, Germany or another relevant jurisdiction
• At least 7 years of working experience, preferably in corporate law, AIFs and financial services
• In-depth knowledge of AIFM regulations, corporate structures and AML/CFT requirements
• Proven ability to manage legal affairs in an investment area
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an asset
