On behalf of our client, a prestigious service provider, we are looking for a “German Speaking Senior Accountant (m/f/d)” for their office in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- Reviewing annual financial statements as well as CSSF and BCL reports
- Reporting to the Manager of the team or directly to the Head of Pool
- Managing a portfolio of institutional clients active in the real estate area
- Contact person for fund manager, tax advisor, real estate asset manager, banks, lawyers, etc.
- Overviewing tax and VAT returns as well as coordinating the preparation of financial reporting and closing processes
- Checking and maintaining accounting and tax documents to ensure the completeness of the files
- Participation in the liquidation process and board meetings
Your profile:
- Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- At least 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in Accounting as well as Real Estate experience
- Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP is a must; IFRS and German GAAP would be an asset
- Fluency in German and English at business level; any another European language is an advantage
