On behalf of our client, an Asset Manager, we are looking for a “Financial Controller – Associate Director (m/f/d)” for their office in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
• Ensuring that all legal entities keep their books and records correctly
• Preparation and timely submission of accurate annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with the relevant GAAP (Lux and IFRS)
• Ensuring compliance with the existing, documented and applied control systems to minimise financial risks
• Make sure that all other ad hoc requests from clients/investors are handled efficiently
• Assuring that the data provided for investment management purposes is accurate, timely and relevant to users
• Authorising correct and punctual execution of payments
Your profile:
• Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 5 – 7 years of relevant experience, within the financial services sector
• Strong preference for real estate, NPL and/or emerging market experience
• Fluency in German and English at business level, French, Spanish or another European language is an advantage
