Deputy Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client, an international service provider, we are looking for a “Deputy Accounting Manager (m/f/d)” for their offices in Luxembourg. 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular, proactive communication, positioning yourself as a trusted and preferred point of contact by anticipating and addressing client needs.
  • Oversee and coordinate the accounting activities carried out by your team, ensuring accuracy and consistency in day-to-day bookkeeping.
  • Manage and review the preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements and related tax filings in line with the underlying accounts.
  • Support a diverse client portfolio including start-ups, SMEs, large corporates, family-owned businesses, and self-employed individuals by delivering comprehensive accounting, tax, and administrative services.
  • Contribute actively to the optimisation and digitalisation of internal processes and workflows.
  • Leverage your market insight, client knowledge, and professional network to support business development initiatives and the acquisition of new clients.
  • Lead, coach, and develop your team by fostering motivation and professional growth, recognising that team performance is a key driver of your own success.

Your profile:

  • Minimum of 4 years work experience in a Big4-firm or fiduciary in Luxembourg
  • ACCA certificate is considered a high asset
  • Knowledge of managing a portfolio of local commercial clients
  • Leadership experience
  • Fluency in German and French as well as a good level of English are essential
