On behalf of our client, a prestigious bank, we are looking for a “German Speaking Private Banking Investment Specialist (m/f/d)” for their department in Luxembourg.
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic advisor on the client’s investment portfolio, guiding portfolio construction and asset allocation activities
- Monitoring clients ́ asset allocation across investments as well as assessing clients’ overall risk appetite and own client suitability and appropriateness checks
- Coordinating regular investment and business reviews with clients and internal teams
- Collaborating with the Relationship Manager to serve clients across a defined portfolio
- Accountability for total investment AUM, revenue, asset retention and contribution towards business mix goals
- Assisting Relationship Managers in acquiring new clients by participating in pitches and highlighting the company ́s wealth management’s capabilities
- Identify needs and opportunities to develop solutions in capital markets and alternatives as tactical portfolio components
- Work closely with internal partners, including portfolio managers and product specialists, to deliver the firm’s top capabilities, solutions, and investment insights
Your Profile:
- MBA, CFA degree or other advanced degree a plus
- Several years of relevant investment experience as well as a good understanding of the regulatory framework (MiFID II, RDR, etc.)
- Local qualifications or licenses are an advantage
- Proven experience in asset allocation and portfolio construction with knowledge of HNWI characteristics and private clients
- Know-how of classic banking products including lending, deposits and wealth planning in order to identify opportunities
- Ability to introduce existing client relationships a plus
- Fluency in German and English
