On behalf of our client, an alternative investment service provider, we are looking for a “Senior Legal Officer – Alternative Investments (m/f/d)” for their office in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients and external parties regarding business and legal issues in relation to a diverse portfolio of AIFs and SPVs, revising legal documents regarding acquisitions and restructuring transactions
- Understanding constitutional documents, articles, LPA and client structures
- Managing assigned work and assuring all deadlines are met, executing quality checks at vital points during an ongoing process and intervening if necessary
- Leading, training and mentoring of junior employees
- In-depth knowledge of client’s needs, providing client guidance and proactively identifying cases in need of decisions, such as transactions and approvals from the board
- Ongoing execution of all fund actions, assuring official documents are retained accordingly, executing fund closings and consolidating subscription agreements, KYC and communication
- Processing all investor changes, transfers and overseeing regulatory and staturory reportings are finalized
Your profile:
- Universty degree in Law, Finance, Busines Administration or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a related field or business area, preferably from a service provider or law firm in Luxembourg
- Good knowledge of AML and KYC in Luxembourg
- Fluency in English is a must, any other language, for example German, will be considered a plus
